Vice President of Merchandising, Planning & Inventory, Batteries Plus
Cameron McDonald currently serves as the Vice President of Merchandising, Planning & Inventory (MP&I) at Batteries Plus. In his role, Cameron oversees a variety of functions, including category management, product development, demand planning, inventory management, business insights, and the company’s industry-leading recycling programs—which recycles over 50 million pounds of batteries and 240,000 pounds of light bulbs and ballasts each year.
Throughout his career, Cameron has held various roles across a wide range of industries, including financial services, media and entertainment, oil and gas, quick service restaurants, and retail/wholesale distribution. He has led projects both domestically as well as internationally in Asia, Europe, and South America. This broad experience enables him to bring a unique perspective to solving problems and delivering value for organizations and industries.
Cameron holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of North Texas, a Project Management Certificate from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He is passionate about process improvement, new cutting edge ideas, data-driven decision making, and building high-performing teams that drive growth and impact.
