Andrew Gardner joined Ascend Elements as Plant Manager of the company’s Covington, GA battery recycling facility in January 2025. He is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in operations management within the industrial gas sector. He has a proven record of developing and expanding operational business units in plant operations and field services, driving growth and efficiency. During his career, Andrew has collaborated with business partners, engineering teams, supply chain, projects, and commercial stakeholders to develop and commission operational production facilities. He has held various Director roles in plant operations, field service, and equipment manufacturing, as well as positions in project management and business development at Linde and Airgas. Andrew holds an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from DeVry University. Like many Ascend Elements team members, he served in U.S. military as a Navy technician in electronics and fire control systems.
