Dawn New-Echlin is the senior vice president of CellBlockfcs and the managing partner of New Dawn Solutions, an advisor to those working in the sustainability space largely focused on lithium batteries.

Prior to joining CellBlockfcs, Dawn served as commercial vice president of Cirba Solutions and was responsible for managing the team supporting customers in the end-of-life management of all battery chemistries and driving commercial excellence in customer engagement.

She has more than 25 years of diverse experience in solid waste, hazardous waste and recycling services in commercial and institutional settings from her roles at Great Lakes Recycling, Philip Services Corp. and Shaw Environmental. Dawn also has served as a board member of the Michigan Recycling Coalition and Supplier’s Partnership for the Environment and currently serves on the planning committee for the Battery Show.

For her longstanding work toward sustainable solutions in the environmental field, she was awarded the 2022 Individual Environmental Achievement Award from the Environmental Management Association.
